Unaffiliated voters must request a Unity Party (UP) ballot from the County Clerk before June 8, to receive a Unity Party ballot by mail. Unaffiliated voters may also request a Unity Party ballot at a Voter Service and Polling Center up to and including election day, June 30.
By June 8, is the "Last day for voters who are affiliated with a political party to change or withdraw their affiliation if they wish to vote in a different party's primary election." [Colorado Secretary of State elections calendar]
That means major and minor party members will then need to request a Unity Party (UP) ballot from the County Clerk, or at a Voter Service and Polling Center up to and including election day, June 30.
If you are eligible to vote, but not yet registered, you may register to vote up to and including primary election day, June 30, and request a Unity Party (UP) ballot at the Voter Service and Polling Center.
The online booklet, Know Your Voting Rights [Photo on left] provides more details about who is eligible and not eligible to vote in Colorado elections. However, the information above provides more complete details about how to vote a minor party ballot.
